In lieu of sending Flowers to the family, we request that you to join us in supporting Locker #505: Students Clothing Bank by making a donation in Trudy's name.

The Mission of Locker #505: Student's Clothing Bank is: "To provide appropriate school clothing to K-12 greater Albuquerque metro area (including Sandoval, Valencia and Torrance counties) students in need."

Locker #505: Student's Clothing Bank is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has established a student-focused facility where children can try on and choose outfits that they feel good about wearing. Having appropriate school clothing allows children to concentrate on their school work, not their clothing. It also helps keep children, who might not go to class because of their clothes, to stay in school. Students are provided with a backpack, personal care items, school supplies, books, a toy and a stuffed animal.

They are accompanied by one of our experienced shoppers to pick out their own school-appropriate clothing including tops, bottoms, underwear, socks, shoes and a seasonal jacket. This is an empowering experience and helps to encourage them to attend school each day with confidence.

When a student comes to Locker #505, we want them to have a pleasant and positive experience where they are able to express their preferences and can be provided with outfits to fit their needs.

It is crucial that each student be treated with the utmost respect and kindness and leaves Locker #505 feeling confident.
